Chronicle Season of Sharing Fund

The “Chronicle Season of Sharing Fund” provides temporary assistance to people living in the Bay Area. The “Fund” offers grants to help families in crisis in many ways by paying rent, covering a security deposit, buying a wheelchair or other medical equipment they could not otherwise afford. In addition, the “Fund” supports food banks, helping individuals and families who would otherwise go hungry. GOLD METROPOLITAN MEDIA is proud to work with the “Chronicle Season of Sharing Fund” to produce and install City Light Pole Banners in San Francisco.

Colfax Charter Elementary School: World Fair

Colfax Charter Elementary School presents its annual “World Fair” on May 20, 2017. The Colfax “World Fair” is the school’s most important fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from the event support the K-5 music and arts programs, hands-on science learning, classroom aides, and farm and gardening programs. The community event attracts thousands for food, music, games, rides, and fun. Join in on the Colfax “World Fair” event and catch a glimpse of the City Light Pole Banners GOLD METROPOLITAN MEDIA created and installed for the annual community event.

California Science Center: Ecosystems

Everything on our earth is connected. Plants, animals, people, weather, water, and soil are all a part of a delicate balance. “Ecosystems”, a permanent exhibit at the California Science Center, allows visitors to explore amazing environments and discover how the physical and living worlds affect and define each other. Each of the exhibit’s eight Zones explores a difference ecological principle. GOLD METROPOLITAN MEDIA created and installed numerous City Light Pole Banners throughout Los Angeles to promote the exhibit.

LA Opera: Tosca

The LA Opera presents “Tosca” at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion this spring. “Tosca” tells the story of a woman trapped between her allegiance to her rebel lover and the scheming of a treacherous police chief who will stop at nothing in his lust for her. The intense conflict between the three love crossed characters comes to an extraordinary end in one of the Opera’s bloodiest dramas. Watch as the story unfolds now until May 13, 2017, and catch a glimpse of the City Light Pole Banners GOLD METROPOLITAN MEDIA installed for the performances.

La Cienega Design Quarter: Legends 2017

The La Cienega Design Quarter presents “Legends 2017-Your True Colors”, a 3-day celebration of design that brings together thousands of people from the interior design, decor, art, fashion, and architecture fields. The “Legends” event held from May 9-11, 2017, features numerous panel discussions, cocktail parties, book signings, personal appearances, and various opportunities to engage in dialogue about design. The event’s theme will be expressed in the 60+ window displays of the member LCDQ shops, showrooms, and galleries in the LA Cienega Design Quarter. GRAMMY Museum: Jim Marshall’s 1967

The Grammy Museum presents “Jim Marshall’s 1967” on display from March 10 – May 14, 2017. The exhibition features a selection of 60 images from thousands Jim Marshall took while he documented history in the making during San Francisco’s Summer of Love. Visitors can follow Marshall as he photographed some of the most important musical artists in 1967, including Grateful Dead and Jimi Hendrix. GOLD METROPOLITAN MEDIA is excited to create and install City Light Pole Banners for the Grammy Museum’s “Jim Marshall’s 1967” exhibition.

Center Theatre Group: Into the Woods

Venture through the witty and wildly theatrical award-winning musical “Into the Woods” playing at the Ahmanson Theatre April 4-May 14, 2017. The Fiasco Theatre production includes classic songs such as “Children Will Listen” and “No One is Alone” in a thrilling new version of the production that will make you fall head over heels. Mind the wolf, heed the witch, and honor the giant in the sky in the musical about the power of wishes and what happens when they come true.
