The famous works of Roy Lichtenstein are now on display at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. “Pop for the People: Roy Lichtenstein in L.A.” explores how Roy Lichtenstein made fine art accessible to the American public in ways that had never been achieved before. The exhibit features many of Lichtenstein’s popular works as well as the partnership with Los Angeles artists’ workshop Gemini G.E.L., whose partnership played a formative role in shaping the Los Angeles art scene. A unique part of the exhibit is the interactive space where visitors can step into Lichtenstein reimagination of Vincent Van Gough’s “Bedroom at Arles” brought to life in three-dimensional form. GOLD METROPOLITAN MEDIA is honored to work with the Skirball Cultural Center to create City Light Pole Banners for the POP-ular exhibit.
