Celebrating 70 years, the HOLLYWOOD SCHOOLHOUSE is an iconic fixture along LA’s Highland Avenue. Established in 1945 as a preschool for 20 children, the HOLLYWOOD SCHOOLHOUSE now educates 290 students up to the eighth grade. Through its Big Sunday tree plantings and ongoing neighborhood clean-ups, The Schoolhouse has enjoyed being part of the recent renaissance of Hollywood. The school and its founding family also enjoy an excellent relationship with the City of Los Angeles and its elected officials.
