The Santa Monica Metro Expo Line extension is now open, just in time for the summer! Commuters now have an alternative to busy freeways, the Metro commute time from downtown to the Westside is only 46 minutes. Many City leaders gathered to celebrate the opening of the 6.6-mile extension in May. The expo line connects downtown to the Westside for the first time in 63 years.
