Center Theatre Group: Bright Star

The Center Theatre Group presents “Bright Star” playing at the Ahmanson October 11-November 19, 2017. The five-time Tony-nominated Broadway musical, written by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, is refreshingly genuine and daringly hopeful. Inspired by a real event, the musical tells a sweeping tale of love and redemption set against the backdrop of the American South in the 1920s and ’40s. Propelled by an ensemble of onstage musicians and dancers, the story unfolds as a rich tapestry of deep emotion, beautiful melodies, and powerfully moving performances. CSUN Valley Performing Arts Center 2017/18 Season

GOLD METROPOLITAN MEDIA is proud to work with CSUN’s Valley Performing Arts Center (VPAC) to produce and install City Light Pole Banners throughout the San Fernando Valley. The VPAC kicked off its 2017-2018 season featuring a range of musical theater, dance performances, and concerts in their new series Music Knows No Borders. Some of the season’s star performers include Billy Porter, Kathleen Battle, and Leonard Bernstein. Be sure to catch one of the season’s performances and a glimpse of these colorful VAPC banners.

LAMCA: Chagall: Fantasies for the Stage

LACMA presents “Chagall: Fantasies for the Stage” this fall. The exhibit highlights the principal role that music and dance played in Chagall’s artistic practice concentrating on Chagall’s four productions for the stage—the ballets Aleko, The Firebird, Daphnis and Chloé, The Magic Flute. The exhibition also features the artist’s vibrant costumes, set designs, a selection of iconic paintings, numerous works on paper, and documentary footage of original performances. GOLD METROPOLITAN MEDIA is proud to work with LACMA to create City Light Pole Banners for the “Chagall: Fantasies for the Stage” exhibit.

American Film Institute: AFI FEST 2017

AFI FEST presented by Audi is the American Film Institute’s annual celebration of international cinema from modern masters and emerging filmmakers. AFI Fest features nightly red-carpet galas, special screenings, conversations and tributes. It’s an opportunity for artists to come together with audiences in the heart of the movie capital of the world, Hollywood. The festival remains the first and only festival of its stature that is free to the public and is a showcase for the best festival films of the year. This year AFI FEST celebrates its 31st edition and is Los Angeles’ longest-running international film festival. GOLD METROPOLITAN MEDIA is excited to create and install City Light Pole Banners to promote AFI Fest.

Loyola Marymount University: Fall Sports

We’re excited to work with Loyola Marymount University (LMU) to promote Fall Sports with City Light Pole Banners. This fall, LMU offers tickets to Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Soccer, Men’s Soccer, and Men’s Water polo games through November. Be sure to catch an upcoming soccer, water polo, volleyball game, or upcoming sporting event and support the LMU athletics.

LA Opera: Pearl Fishers

The LA Opera presents “The Pearl Fishers” at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion from October 7-October 28, 2017. A story of a veiled priestess with a hidden past, pursued by two friends and romantic rivals pushes forbidden love into a final struggle for life and death. Beautifully detailed staging and special effects brings the rare and exotic love story to life. GOLD METROPOLITAN MEDIA is honored to work with the LA Opera to produce and install light pole banners for “The Pearl Fishers” production.

California Science Center: Body Worlds: Pulse

Experience inventor Dr. Gunther von Hagens’ “BODY WORLDS: Pulse” — a convergence of aesthetic anatomy, health and wellness at the Californa Science Center this fall. More than 200 plastinated specimens of real human bodies — including whole bodies, translucent slices, and organs – are curated and presented in galleries that feature the different systems of the body. Through interactive multimedia, guests can explore the wonders of the human body and marvel at its elegance and complexity. Learn what makes you move, what makes you tick, and what makes you unique in the largest BODY WORLDS exhibition in a decade. GOLD METROPOLTIAN MEDIA is proud to work with the California Science Center to create and install City Light Pole Banners to spread the word about the Body Worlds exhibit.

Milken Community Schools: Open House 2017

This fall, Milken Community Schools are offering various Open Houses for potential new students and parents in the Los Angeles area. The Middle and Upper Schools provide prospective students and parents the opportunity to visit the campus to learn more about the curriculum, faculty, student life, athletics, and extra-curricular activities. GOLD METROPOLITAN MEDIA is proud to be a part of the process by providing City Light Pole Banners for Milken Community School’s Open House event.

California African American Museum: Face to Face

The California African American Museum presents “Face to Face” exhibit this fall. The exhibit brings together contemporary portraiture from Southern California collections, in recognition of the vital role private collectors play in supporting institutions and artists from Los Angeles and beyond. Explore this exhibit and others at the California African American Museum and be sure to catch a glimpse of the City Light Pole Banners surrounding the museum’s entrance.

Autry Museum: Play!

Experience next level toys and games at the Autry Museum this fall. Through more than 200 historic objects, the “Play!” exhibit explores the role of toys and games across cultures and times. Featuring dolls, board games, video games, outdoor activities, and more the exhibition looks at the many ways children have played in the American West, the social values toys reveal, and how the West has inspired imagination. Beyond the displays, museum visitors will be able play with toys and games from the past and present. GOLD METROPOLITAN MEDIA is excited to work with the Autry Museum to produce and install City Light Pole Banners for the “Play!” exhibit.
