“Painted in Mexico, 1700-1790: Pinxit Mexico” is on display at the LACMA until March 18, 2018. The groundbreaking exhibition is devoted to 18th-century Mexican paintings, a period marked by stylistic developments and new iconographies. With over 100 works, the exhibition will make a lasting contribution to our understanding of Mexican paintings. The exhibit represents the first and most serious effort to reposition the history of the 18th century painting in Mexico. Gold Metropolitan Media is honored to work with the LACMA to promote the “Painted in Mexico” campaign on City Light Pole Banners throughout Los Angeles.
